Podcast for Good co-hosts with Philip Kerrigan and Heather Lucas were joined by the executive directors for two charities that make a big impact in our state.

In celebration of Caregiver’s Month, August, Washington State Combined Fund Drive interviewed Visiting Nurses Foundation Executive Director Jenny Collins along with Shelly Willis of Family Education and Support Services. Many families have been touched or cared by a caregiver at some point in their lives. A caregiver is family member or paid helper who regularly looks after a child, a sick, disabled or elderly person. Caregivers have many tasks in which they are responsible and range from personal care to household tasks to companionship.

Our thrift store locations are currently CLOSED, but our Medical Equipment Bank is OPEN! To access the equipment bank or drop off a donation for community distribution, please ring the bell at the dock donation door at either respective location.
