Medical Equipment

Need Medical Equipment?

One of the many ways Visiting Nurses Foundation is making a difference to the community is through our Medical Equipment Bank. We loan medical equipment out to those in need. This is a list of just some of the items we offer:

medical equipment donations

  • Crutches
  • Walkers
  • Wheelchairs
  • Bath / Shower Transfer Chairs
  • Commodes
  • Canes

If you have benefited from hospice care in your own family, you appreciate how hospice ensures life’s final days are experienced with peace, comfort and dignity.

Our medical equipment bank is a great resource for home health and hospice patients in need of assistance. This program survives soley on the support of community equipment donations and financial contributions.

In December 2009, Assured Home Health and Hospice Foundation merged with Visiting Nurses Foundation.  The board of directors of both organizations felt that one foundation could better accomplish both a medical equipment bank and support the needs of the comfort therapy program as well as the many other unfunded care demands.

We continue to see an increase in need for our home health and hospice services and there is an even greater challenge in finding dollars to pay for those services.  For over 20 years the foundations have been helping people in serious need of financial assistance to cover the costs of home health and hospice care
