The Visiting Nurses Foundation supports families during the most vulnerable chapters of their lives. Families and community are at the core of our foundation. In pursuit of our mission, we raise funds for home health and hospice care.
Through fundraisers, events and our Lewis County thrift store locations, we are able to help cover the costs of equipment, programs and vital care for patients in 8 counties. We proudly serve Lewis, Thurston, Jefferson, Clallam, Mason, Grant, Adams and Lincoln counties.
Our foundation has a dedicated staff and an active volunteer board that work to increase funding to meet a vital community need. The great work of Visiting Nurses dates back to 1990 and has continued to grow since.

Each year we look forward to our largest fundraising event. Our tournament features a 4 person scramble and a "One Million Dollar Shoot Out." 100% of the proceeds go directly back to our community! The golf tournament begins the night before with our fun "Business After Hours" featuring music, food and raffle prizes!

We understand the holidays can be difficult when you've lost a loved one. Every year, we honor and remember those that we have lost. During our "Celebration of Life" event, we light a candle to remember the light of your loved ones. The future of home health and hospice care is in the hands of our current scholars. We believe in providing support for our future caregivers. In the coming year, we look forward to awarding up to $25,000 in educational scholarships to support future caregivers.
