Visiting Nurses Foundation
Our Mission
The mission of the Visiting Nurses Foundation is to create funding for education and assistance of Home Health and Hospice patients and their families.
Hospice Care Support
Our ongoing partnership with Assured Hospice is integral to advancing our mission. In 2026, the Comfort Therapy Grant has increased to $144,000, allowing us to offer crucial comfort therapies to hospice patients. Through this grant, the Visiting Nurses Foundation fully funds Assured Hospice’s comfort therapy program, which provides services like massage, acupuncture, music therapy, and more to ensure patients experience the greatest comfort possible at the end of their lives. While these services are not covered by Medicare or Medicaid, they are essential for enhancing the quality of life for patients in hospice care.
